Woven Bunny Basket

This chic Bunny Basket was crafted by resourceful artisan women who recently returned to Burundi after living for years as refugees in Tanzania. Woven out of local grass and recycled grain sacks from Burundi; a practice started when living in camps in Tanzania, refugees received food supplies in grain sacks which they then used to unravel and use the threads to weave into baskets.
