Crafted by refugees from Syria living in Armenia
This little cat is hand-felted using local sheep wool. The design is inspired by a rare Armenian breed that often has two different coloured eyes and is known for its freedom-loving character.

Made in partnership with HDIF

About the craftsmanship
These ornaments are made from 100% Armenian wool and embellished with traditional embroidery designs, using an Armenian embroidery techniques learned growing up in Syria. These are traditional techniques that have been passed to the artisans by previous generations.
